Yo, 'tis me.
I just realised that I havnt posted here in over a year :O
I just looked at some of the graphics for moods in the set i selected like 2 years ago, and WTF? some of them are totally bizarre and dont really fit the mood.
But yeah so anyways, life is kinda crazy, i have tests every day this week, except friday and then MLK on friday!
MLK is so exciting!
I need to come up with better things to post here, my life isnt nearly as interesting as everyone else's who still posts here. |

Hey everyone.
Just here to let you all know that I'm not dead.
lol
k so I havnt posted here in over six months so i thought that i should get back into posting.
so basically exams are over, so yay and i think i did okay and i dont have any worries about continuing in ap, for sure.
i got student of the month in math for december, so im pretty pleased with myself.
french is finally over for this year. yay. 31A next year and then no more in high school
so a package arrived from amazon yesterday and inside was The Complete Monty Python's Flying Cicus 16 tonne (disc) megaset that my dad ordered. yay
so last night was Wizard of Oz at John Ware. of coarse i only actually realised this at 2 this morning so i missed it. dammit i wanted to go
i will try to attend Dessert Night for sure
so next week i start English, Socials (with Patterson!) and math20, all AP
music and gym continue over
so i got the new flyer for musicamp 2007 over winter break, and i will post the link to the website so everone can come this year ;)

just got back from musicamp on saturday
it was fun, but got pretty tiring around thursday of second week
there were people there who were bigger clarinet geeks than i am, if u can beleive it!!
now i must begin recruiting people to come next year!!!!!
everyone who playes a band instrument (including double bass...hint hint) must consider coming!!!!!!!!!!
it will be so much fun (even more than it is already) if we had a big posse there

so i just got back from visiting grandparents in lethbridge today. it was mostly uneventful except for eating lunch at Ric's Grill AKA the water tower resarant and then randomly meeting the mayor of lethbridge at city hall when we were paying a bill cuz my grandperents know many of the important people in lethbridge. so that was kinda neat, but other than that a fairly uneventful few days of reading, gameboy and clarinet practice (or "concerts" as my grandparents like to call them so that ill be more inclined to do it)
so yeah
i went to the stampede last week and my leg had a bruise on it for a week cuz one of those backwards spinning circular rides had a sharp metal bit that drove into my leg because of centrifucal force pressing me against it. stupid bad ride design >:( other than that, the stampede for me was just watching my brother do stupid midway games that i dont care for and eating too many of those mini donuts
so my dad gets home from working in saudi arabia tommorrow, so that will be nice
i go away to musicamp in red deer on sunday so this might be my last post until i get back 2 weeks from saturday

today was kinda ok but kinda crap
i had a friend over from my old junior high this morning, and he had a broken leg so we mostly played gamecube and watched the world cup.....yay italy...w00t...although i dont care much..i would have prefered england but italy is my next choice (i'm half of british descent and a quarter italian)
so after my friend left i had to mow the lawn....grrrr!
then i started to drizzle as i was finishing
as soon as i got inside, it started raining harder and i saw/heard very close lightening! then it hailed with pea sized hailstones
actually the weather is being emo again now with thunder and such
i like stormy weather, so i dont mind
so now im kinda bored cuz i dont have anyone to talk to on msn right now cuz nobody is online
oh well
btw sorry for sorta double-posting. this is my random interval rant and the other is just a random rant/vent
ah, well whatever
so i guess graham and jacob went to artstrek today
i will be going to red deer college too for musicamp in a coupla weeks - tis a nice place - for all u fellow bandies, its the same place we went for that band festival on the trip, although we only saw a small portion of it that time
anyway, i should be quiet now so i dont take up everyones' friends pages with random banter - i need to figure out how to make those neat little side page linky post things (i dont know what its called, dont laugh at me)

i have been wandering around lj today and have come to the conclusion that i hate the light blue colour for text!!!! it is very difficult to read on a light background!!!
especially annoying is when this is the colour that your text appears in when you are typing in a comment - i wont mention any names but YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!!! >:(
this makes it near impossible to read what you are typing and this is extremely frustrating!!!!!
if people want comments, do not make it so difficult to leave them!!!!!!!

So what happened today in sordiland?
actually nothing of note.
enough of that
im going to be doing a lot (thats the right way of doing it, alot is wrong XD) of things this summer that i should have done a long time ago, including:
1. figuring out how to make real iced tea (u know, with actual TEA)
2. doing some artsy stuff like drawing and watercolours and stuff (i might show u guys if i ever get a scanner)
3. Figuring out what kind of music i actually like (if u thing i might like something, feel free to email it in either windows or itunes format)
4. reading more stuff, like more douglas adams and Tolkein
5. seeing movies that i missed
6. doing more photography (if my family ever gets a decent digital camera)
7. finishing some video games that i need to finsish (ocarina of time, for example)
8. getting better at foosball so i can beat my dad
9. getting an mp3 player
10. organizing my stuff cuz im messy
11. learing basic cooking skillz so i can make stuff
12. doing some good clainet practice (i have an exam coming up, hmmm)
13. figuring out what my personality actually is so i can be more myself for once, whatever that means
14. becoming less of a computer addict and going outside more often
15. spending more time with friends
so yeah, im going to have an interesting summer doing stuff and such
so um, yeah

so today i went to Jacobs party and we watched Howl's Moving Castle, which was like totally a wtf movie, but it was a very well done and imaginative wtf movie! And we like ate pasta salad and stuff and played gamecube. It was fun and stuff. Then i went home and went on lj and was like omg im one of the only people that goes on every day! I'm so terrible and impatient! Somebody should become very angry with me one of these days cuz im so aweful XD!
this is going to be a long summer if i spend it on msn and lj all the time!
Ah well, im going to Musicamp in about 3 weeks where i can be with lots of other music-oriented people and have music-oriented fun and stuff while pwning at clarinet (lol, fake ego)! So yeah, then im going home and then to Medicine Hat for my grandparents' art show opening, then to Vancouver Island and then to Shuswap Lake to have fun at Grandpa's cabin! Then i think i have a clarinet exam sometime in August, hmmm. So this is the story of my summer!
I think i should lay off on lj and let people add me instead of the other way around, cuz i feel kinda pushy adding people all the time without them asking me to do so!
So, yeah that is my story, if u care at all!
So, if anyone wants me to add them, just add me and ill add you unless i cant find anyone who knows who you are! Thats unlikely, though!

I just made a new LJ cuz the name for my old one was very boreing!
the old one can be accessed at michaelsordi.livejournal.com in case u want to check it out (it is adviseable becuz the stuff on there is still current!)
A quick word on the name: Klez is short for Klezmer, a style of folk music (think Fiddler and u know what it is) and aboyne, to quote wikipedia, means
ABOYNE (vb.) To beat an expert at a game of skill by playing so appallingly that none of his clever tactics or strategies are of any use to him.
this term was coined by author Douglas Adams (of Hitch Hikers guide fame) in his book: The Meaning of Liff. It's not a real word, but oh well! It's kinda how i feel sometimes when i beat someone at something but i dont know how i did it! So thats what my name means, in case ur interested. YAY!
